Toad for Data Analysts supports the following databases using the native provider:
- SQL Server 2000 with SP3, 2005 with SP2, 2008
Note: SQL Server Compact Edition is not supported.
- DB2 UDB for z/OS 8.1 or later
- DB2 UDB for LUW 8.1.5 (or later), 9.1 or later

ODBC Database Support

Toad for Data Analysts supports almost all databases that you can connect to using an ODBC 3.0 or later driver.
Toad for Data Analysts Quality Assurance has tested the following databases using an ODBC 3.0 or later driver:
- DB2 for i5/OS V5R4 and IBM i6.1 (limited testing)
- Informix Dynamic 10.00, 11.0 (limited testing)
- Ingres Community Edition 2006 R2 (limited testing)
- Netezza Data Warehouse Appliance 4.5
- Teradata V2R6.1 (limited testing)
