What is the Referral Fee Program?
The Quest Partner Circle’s Referral Fee Program is available to our Premier, Elite and Registered partners. The objective of the program is to acknowledge and reward our referral partners for their role in the sales cycle.
How does it work?
1. Register your engagement in the early stages of the sales cycle.
2. Your registration will be reviewed and approved by the Quest Channel Operations Team, and you may be contacted to confirm your role and payment expectations.
3. You and your Quest Sales Manager will sign the Teaming Agreement before the close of the sale.
4. Your opportunity will be tracked and updated in the Quest CRM system and by the Quest Channel Operations Team.
5. You will receive payment 45 days after Quest receives payment from the customer.

How are the fees determined?
Referral fee percentages are unique for partners operating at different levels of the program (Elite, Premier, Registered) as well as the nature of the referral opportunity, either Quest-led, Collaborative or Partner-Led. Sales Involvement Definitions |
Quest-Led Selling: - Facilitate introduction to key decision makers
- Facilitate introduction to technical staff involved in the decision making process
- Have significant relationship with key decision/technical decision makers to provide intelligence into Prospect’s priorities

Collaborative Selling: - Meet all commitments from Quest-led selling
- Assist Quest with necessary information to respond appropriately to RFI/RFP
- Joint presentation to prospect
- Endorsement and/or design of Quest solutions into prospect’s project
- Participate as part of the sales team – regular team communication
- Assist in assessment of technical environment, sizing, and other requirements

Partner-Led Selling: - Act as prime contact for the prospect – managing the sales cycle
- Manage POC leveraging appropriate Quest resources
- Manage RFP submission/submit quote
- Negotiate pricing/discount/services
- Lead the sales team strategy – regular team communications

Are there any restrictions?
As with margins and discounts, the amount of the referral fee is determined by which membership tier you have achieved and your level of sales involvement. These fees are negotiated and agreed to in advance. The percentage of referral fee is determined jointly by you and your Quest Sales Manager.
NOTE: Referral fees will not be available in cases where you have been involved in the resale of the products/services. In addition, when you provide subcontracting services to Quest Professional Services, you are not eligible for a referral fee on the same transaction. Referral fees are paid on licensed revenue only and on the net amount. Professional Service fees are excluded.
